Back in 2002, on my junior year of highschool, I started taking Web Design class. Our teacher wanted us to learn using Macromedia Dreamweaver (I believe it was 6, not entirely sure XD). However, I didn't use Dreamweaver; instead I created my website on Geocities (since I have a yahoo e-mail account) from scratch (I learned some HTML when I used to post in Nickelodeon Message Board to create cool sigs with markees and stuff lol). We also had to learn to use Macromedia Fireworks so make our own images to put in our websites. I kept looking at my friend Elaine's website and she had some dolls (those prep dollmaker onces) and I liked them. so I looked around other doll websites and I entered Angy-chan's.
I was in love with her work *_* Once I found her Manga bases, I pictured Peach in it. So I used Fireworks to create my very first doll (now that I look back at it, her hair looks like a pine tree ROFL!!). I liked how she turned out, so I created more, entered contests, etc. I decided to use my Web Design website to post all of my dolls in it, and most importantly, I got an A on it :D
I learned HTML little by little, but I kept doing it without Dreamweaver, and I have no idea why XD My dad had always had the programs, so it wasn't because I couldn't. Anyways, I slowly stopped making dolls once it was time for me to apply for college. Then in the end of 2004, my freshman year, I wanted to make something special for my boyfriend at the time, so I decided to make him a doll. Then the obsession started again XD
I continued to use my Geocities website to post them. Then in mid 2005 I finally decided it was time to create a new layout that looked a little bit... more professional per se, but didn't actually work on it until Febrary 2006 xD Since my sister Laura learned more HTML that I knew, she had helped me. I also decided to use my dad's server (hence the lastname on the url XP) that we've had for a REALLY long time XD So there you have it, brand new site, brand new life :D
